What should have been a joyful honeymoon ended in tragedy in the hills of Shillong, India. On May 20, businessman Raja Raghuvanshi arrived with his new wife, Sonam. Days later, his decomposing body was discovered in a remote canyon, missing his identification and wedding ring.
Initial suspicion fell on Raj Kushwaha, Sonam’s alleged lover, but investigators later uncovered a darker twist: authorities say Sonam herself orchestrated the plot, allegedly manipulating Raj and recruiting three accomplices—Vishal Singh, Anand Kurmi, and Akash Rajput—by promising financial rewards.
