Inside every tree is a quiet record of its life—rings marking years of growth, drought, and change. Bartholomäus Traubeck turned that record into music, using light and a camera to read each ring and translate it into piano notes. The result feels less like a song and more like a memory being heard.
Each piece is unique: different trees, ages, and conditions create different sounds. Listening, you can almost sense storms, growth, and struggle. It transforms how you see a forest—not as stillness, but as countless silent stories waiting to be heard.
