Finding trumpet worm nests was never just a game—it was an escape and a reminder that the world still held small wonders. While many kids stayed indoors, we explored fields and backyards, digging in the dirt and discovering simple joys that didn’t cost anything.
Those moments taught us how to appreciate life with less. Scraped knees and muddy hands became signs of adventure, and discoveries were shared with friends, building memories instead of competition.
Even now, those experiences remind us that real joy doesn’t come from things we buy, but from curiosity, nature, and the simple magic found when we slow down and look closely.
