Barbra Streisand continues to be a bold voice in American culture, using her platform to speak out on politics and social justice well into her 80s. Never one to soften her views, she has been sharply critical of Donald Trump, condemning his rhetoric and leadership in blunt, public terms.
Streisand has said she fears for the country’s future under Trump, remarks she has reiterated in high-profile appearances, including an interview with Stephen Colbert. She also transformed her political outrage into art with her 2018 album Walls, which directly addresses dishonesty, division, and the state of American democracy.
For Streisand, activism and artistry remain inseparable—proof that her voice is still as influential and uncompromising as ever.
