A veteran nudist says life on a 2,000-person nude cruise is far more ordinary than people imagine. The atmosphere is relaxed and respectful, with simple rules—towels on chairs, no public sex, and discretion at all times. Most passengers are older travelers simply enjoying the freedom and comfort of being in the sun and sea without clothing.
According to him, nudism on these cruises isn’t about scandal but about comfort and acceptance. Strip away the clothing, he explains, and you mostly find normal people enjoying a different—but surprisingly calm—way of socializing.
