A 70-year-old man has been taken into custody after police say he fatally attacked his wife during a domestic incident at their home. Neighbors reported a disturbance late in the evening, and officers who responded found the woman critically injured. She was later pronounced dead.
Investigators say the confrontation began after the man learned new personal information about his wife, though the exact details have not been publicly confirmed. Authorities state that the situation quickly escalated into violence. Relatives and neighbors expressed shock, describing the couple as having been married for many years, though their relationship was sometimes strained.
