Our wedding night didn’t look like a movie scene. There were no rose petals or dramatic moments—just a messy hotel room and two exhausted people falling asleep after a long day. In the middle of the night, I woke up to the bed shaking and thought something was wrong.
Instead, I found my husband half-asleep on the floor trying to fix the wobbly bed so it wouldn’t squeak on our first night as a married couple. The moment was awkward, funny, and unexpectedly sweet. It reminded me that marriage isn’t about perfect moments, but about small acts of care, shared laughter, and choosing each other even when you’re completely exhausted.
