Donald Trump previously avoided serving in the Vietnam War after receiving medical exemptions, and recent discussion has turned to whether his youngest son, Barron Trump, would ever serve in the military. As tensions and conflict involving Iran have escalated, some social media users have criticized the Trump family for having no members who served in the armed forces. The hashtag #SendBarron began trending online, with some people arguing that political leaders and their families should share the burden of military decisions.
Reports have also noted that Barron Trump could potentially be exempt from certain military roles for physical reasons, as he is about 6 feet 7 inches tall, close to the upper height limits set for some U.S. military positions. While the debate continues online, official details about any potential draft or Barron’s eligibility for service remain unclear.
