Fans around the world are mourning Eric Dane after reports of the beloved TV star’s death at 53 following a battle with ALS.
As tributes poured in, many returned to what now feels like a heartbreaking final Instagram post. Best known as Dr. Mark “McSteamy” Sloan on Grey’s Anatomy, Dane had recently joined the board of the Target ALS Foundation to raise awareness. In the post, he wrote: “This disease takes something from me every day. But I won’t let it take my spirit.”
