In Minneapolis on January 7, ICE agent Jonathan Ross fatally shot 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, a U.S. citizen and mother of three, firing multiple shots into her SUV as she attempted to drive away during a federal enforcement operation, a killing ruled a homicide by the medical examiner and captured on video that contradicts official accounts. Public reaction has been intense, with protests and scrutiny over the use of force by federal agents, questions about the investigation’s independence, and debate over whether the actions were justified or avoidable.
