Their car was recently discovered at the bottom of a river by an amateur diver, and police confirmed it had been submerged for over a decade. The bodies and personal items inside were identified using surviving documents. The initial theory was that the couple lost control on an icy road and sank without anyone noticing. While it’s unclear what further investigation will reveal, this discovery offers new hope for solving the case and serves as a reminder to never give up on finding answers.
