A fast-growing Instagram account claiming to show glamorous conjoined twins has been exposed by digital forensics experts as an AI fabrication. Analysts say the images contain clear artificial markers — including impossible anatomy, perfect symmetry, and distorted background text — inconsistent with real cases of the rare medical condition the account claims to depict.
Despite mounting evidence and user skepticism, the profile continues gaining followers. Experts warn the case shows how AI-generated personas can exploit curiosity and compassion online, blurring the boundary between reality and digital fiction.
