A 37‑year‑old Minnesota woman, Renee Nicole Good, was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officer during a federal enforcement operation in Minneapolis, sparking national outrage and debate. Bystander video shows Good’s vehicle moving near officers when an ICE agent opened fire, killing her; federal officials say the officer acted in self‑defense, while local leaders and protesters dispute that account and question the use of deadly force. Authorities have framed the incident as part of a broader immigration crackdown, and reactions have ranged from condemnation to defense of the agent’s actions as investigations continue.
