Portia simply wanted to capture a perfect spring moment—her children tucked close, cherry blossoms glowing overhead, the Washington Monument fading into the background. Hours later, scrolling through the photos, she stopped cold. There, caught mid-stride and utterly unbothered, was Barack Obama, walking straight through their frame like a scene from living history.
